The 58th Conference on the Production and Processing of Oilseeds

The 58th Conference on the Production and Processing of Oilseeds themed “Innovations for a better world” was held from June 19 to 24, in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. The focus of the Conference was on scientific innovations and the application of new findings in oilseed industry practice.

The latest achievements were presented, as well as the results of international studies, directions within the global and domestic market and the future prospects of the oilseed industry. Out of 39 papers presented at the Conference, six papers were presented by experts from three Victoria Group member companies: Victoriaoil, Sojaprotein, and SP Laboratorija.

The Conference was organized by the Faculty of Technology of the University of Novi Sad, the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops Novi Sad, the “Industrijsko bilje” business community, and the oil industry’s Council of technologists. It gathered over 100 participants from the country and the region. The ceremonial opening was conducted by the Provincial Secretary of Agriculture, Vuk Radojević, who emphasized the importance of the oilseed industry and its positive collaboration with agricultural manufacturers.
